Vermut Wine
Vermouth has received the name from German word Wertnut that in transfer «the bitter wormwood» means. In the course of manufacture wine flavour a wormwood essence. Besides this plant extracts of the most different grasses, among them mint, cardamom, cinnamon, a nutmeg, ginger can be used. It gives to Vermouths, on the one hand, fragrant aroma, and with another - tart taste. These wines on dry and sweet are subdivided, and on colour distinguish white, pink and red wines.
Judges recommend to drink Vermouths not in the pure state, and with ice. As to manufacturers mass production of these wines has begun in Turin in 1786, therefore it is now conventional that the best Vermouths - Italian, among them Martini and Rossi (Martini and Rossi) and Cinzano.
