Sparkling Wine Tasting



Visually sparkling and sparkling drinks estimate, first of all, on quality of vials. In high-quality grades vials rise from a glass bottom continuous thin chains, and large and chaotic "gurgle" occurs only in cheap wines. If vials are absent, poor quality Champagne means, or is spoilt. Presence of carbonic gas and sugar addition helps to suppress acid a little. Depending on observed balance between these components distinguish very dry, dry, slightly sweet, moderately sweet and rather sweet wines. The above wine on quality, the more gently at it taste. In no event it should not leave sensation, as high gased drinks. It is necessary to notice that bitter after-tasting distinguishes poor quality sparkling wines.
