Kagor Wine
The Cahors wine native land is the French small town Cahors, located in foothills Pireneev. Unfortunately, now its manufacture was strongly reduced.
Make this grade from red grapes, doing of it mezga - shattered and pressed fruits. This weight heat up to 70 - 80 °C and maintain within days. It promotes reception of the mash containing a considerable quantity of tannic and painting substances, paternal wine gets dense colour and is sweetish-tart taste. Maintain Cahors wine no more than three years, and its fortress reaches only 2,5 %. Since ancient times this wine was used in the medical purposes, promoted a raising of the general tone of an organism and was applied to treatment of some gastric diseases. Now Cahors wine is used in churches during participles and carries the name «Blood of the Christ».
